Wolfhouse Run
[edit]- ... that Wolfhouse Run is actually named after a human house?
- ALT1:... that while many people think Wolfhouse Run is named after a wolf house, it is actually named after a human house?

- ALT2:... that Wolfhouse Run is named for the lair of a human Wolf?
- (We could have used his for Halloween. Too bad.) EEng (talk) 01:51, 2 November 2014 (UTC)
- Yeah, ALT2 is also awesome. --Jakob (talk) 12:39, 2 November 2014 (UTC)
- But of course we run the risk it will get pulled off main page -- Wikipedia_talk:Did_you_know#When_the_humor-impaired_become_admins. (Sorry, but this is my new pet peeve.) EEng (talk) 17:44, 2 November 2014 (UTC)
- Yeah, ALT2 is also awesome. --Jakob (talk) 12:39, 2 November 2014 (UTC)
- I find all but ALT2 extremely confusing. Am I supposed to know what a "wolf house" is so that I can compare it with a "human house"? I've never heard that term, and google gets me hits on Jack London's home. Support ALT2. Maury Markowitz (talk) 13:11, 3 November 2014 (UTC)
- @Maury Markowitz: A wolf house is a den of wolves and a human house is a house which is inhabited by humans (in this case a cabin). Personally, I imagine that ALT2 would be a huge hit...until one of the humor-impaired admins pulls it. --Jakob (talk) 13:46, 3 November 2014 (UTC)
- Sure, but that's not a real term, "wolf house". Let's go with ALT2, they'll have to get past me and EE if anyone raises a stink. Maury Markowitz (talk) 13:49, 3 November 2014 (UTC)
- @Maury Markowitz and EEng: For the sake of form, there should be a full review. --Jakob (talk) 01:05, 12 November 2014 (UTC)
